When the Joest family asked us to design and create their daughter’s dream wedding, we were thrilled to hear that Anna was a passionate equestrian and wanted to bring in subtle details of horses to the reception. Choosing a color palette of blush pink and whites, the entire look was light and airy.
To create a stunning ceremony backdrop, we took our vintage wicker arch and floral stands and decked it out with pink roses, white hydrangeas, other assorted flowers and greenery, greenery, greenery! The floral smell was intoxicating as you walked in! The aisle was lined on either side with white lanterns.
Adding the perfect touch were the pink award ribbons Anna had earned over the years. We incorporated them into our large floral vase arrangements so the ribbons could hang.
Their head table was set in front of the massive stone fireplace where two large horse cutouts were placed along with their horseshoe initials signage.
Silk blush napkins were tied with tiny silver horseshoe favors and miniature silver horses were scattered among the guest tables.
Floral arrangements were placed in our antique silver teapots and urns bringing an old world metal accents reminiscent of derby trophies.
We were so happy when we saw how our friend Sharin Shank photographed everything!
