Stephanie and Aaron’s love story began in 2016. Although they had both been active in their running group for many years, the group has hundreds of members, so it took awhile for them to find one another. One day at a run, Aaron spotted Stephanie and began asking other group members about her. Finally, with the help of a mutual friend, the two were connected. After a few weeks of talking and discovering their mutual love of running, movie quotes, and traveling they went on their first date. Two years of memories and many marathons later, Aaron popped the question in Chicago right before a big race.
Their wedding took place on a beautiful summer day at the Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer in Evansville, IN. After the ceremony, the couple celebrated with a reception at the Old Post Office. The decor embodied a classic and elegant look, perfect for the venue, and the white and blue color scheme looked absolutely timeless. We loved creating these blue and white Hydrangea floral arrangements and bouquets with African Thistle and silver dollar Eucalyptus. Floating candles, stemware, pops of navy and gold accents brought all the details together creating a romantic atmosphere for their friends and family.
