It has always been my dream to do a wedding or photoshoot at the Azalea Path up in Hazelton, Indiana during their short two-week bloom time. But with Mother Nature, you never know when she will have them bloom. So, for years I’ve waited for the stars to align and make this shoot a possibility and IT FINALLY HAPPENED! With only a week to prepare, we were able to get our vendor friends involved and create this stunning, spring garden party wedding inspiration shoot. The crisp colors, the delicate spring blooms, the garden furniture, the perfect tea-length dress and birdcage veil, the scrumptious pastries and a little DIY flower pressing by yours truly made this shoot scream spring. We were a small but mighty team of 5 adults and 3 kids (since it was such short notice for childcare!) who made the trek to the incomparable Azalea Path and Botanical Gardens.
Take a look at all the lovely details below and catch some behind the scenes pics of us and our cutie pie kids because as mommas, we will make it work, kids on set and all!
